CAD design and engineering for manufacture
From a rough idea to production-ready CAD, designed around real loads, real budgets and the process that will make it.
Design services
Every part we manufacture starts as a CAD model in house. We apply the same process to your project.
CAD design
3D models and full assemblies of new parts and products, built from your idea, sketch or specification.
Design for manufacture
Parts designed around how they will be welded, moulded or machined, so they are simpler, stronger and cheaper to make.
Redesign and improvement
Existing parts that fail, cost too much or are hard to make, re-engineered from samples, 3D scan data, measurements or old drawings.
Design to requirements
Weight targets, load cases, packaging space and budget defined up front and designed to, not discovered later.
Drawings and documentation
Manufacturing drawings, parts lists and files ready to send to any workshop, ours or yours.
Design verification
3D-printed test parts made in house so you can hold, fit and check the design before committing to production.
Full assembly modelling
We model the whole assembly, including the parts around it, so every interface is checked before production.
3D-printed parts for design verification
Our in-house 3D printers exist for one job: proving a design is right before money goes into machining, moulds or fabrication. A printed test part shows problems with fit, clearance and assembly that a screen can hide.
- Check fit against the real assembly or vehicle
- Confirm clearances, access and ergonomics
- Make changes in days, not weeks
- Approve the design with confidence
Our 3D printing is used for design verification only. Final parts are fabricated, moulded or machined.

What do I need to get started?
Anything that explains the idea: a sketch, photos, an old part, a list of requirements or existing drawings. We will ask the right questions to fill in the gaps.
What file formats can you work with?
We can work from common CAD formats such as STEP and IGES, as well as STL, DXF, DWG and PDF drawings. If you are not sure, send what you have.
Who owns the design?
Intellectual property is agreed in writing before work starts, and we are happy to sign an NDA before you share anything.
Can you just do the design and let us manufacture it?
Yes. We can supply drawings and files ready for your own suppliers, or take the project all the way through to finished parts.
