Buying machined parts offshore can save a lot of money, but finding the right supplier, explaining the job and getting the quality right is hard work and risky. Local machining is quicker for urgent or small jobs, but not always the best value.
We have spent years building relationships with machine shops in Australia and overseas to supply the X1. We pick the right partner for each part, manage the job and check the quality before anything reaches you.
We are upfront about it: we do not run CNC machines ourselves. What we offer is the engineering, the supplier network and the accountability, all through one point of contact.

Do you machine parts yourselves?
No. Machining is done by our trusted local and overseas partners. We handle the engineering, supplier management, quality checks and delivery, so you deal with one team.
Should my parts be made locally or overseas?
It depends on quantity, urgency and complexity. Local is usually best for urgent jobs and small quantities, overseas for larger runs. We will recommend the best option for each part.
I already have drawings. Can you just get them made?
Yes. Send us your drawings or CAD files and we will review them, suggest any improvements and quote for production.
How do you control quality from overseas suppliers?
We work with partners we have used for years on X1 parts, agree the requirements up front and inspect parts before they are delivered to you.
